-The first crawl
Well it didn't take Kamea long to realize she had access to the whole house once she started crawling, she's everywhere now! Only a few days after moving to her new daycare room with the older kids she figured out how to crawl and can't be stopped now. The other day at daycare we were told that she was bullying all the older kids, apparently she decided that she would crawl to each kid and take their pacifiers out of their mouth and then move on to the next kid to do the same, hahaha! She doesn't even use a pacifier anymore, only to occasionally chew on, so she must have thought that the other kids didn't need theirs either.
After a few weeks of waiting, it takes forever for things to get mailed from the states to here, we finally received our much anticipated bike stroller. Kamea loves riding in the back, especially when Dad is pulling her because he'll go a lot faster than Mom. We've gone on a few bike rides around the base and she just has a great time seeing the sites and getting outside. Last weekend we stopped halfway through our bike ride to get some ice cream (Mom was craving some) and Kamea had her first taste, she loved it and kept trying to grab the cone from us for more. Also, we took her to the pool on base yesterday for the first time, she's only been in the ocean since we've been here, and she had a great time kicking around in the water.
-Having fun with Dad in the pool on base
-Warming up after swimming (the pool was still a little chilly)
-Kamea doing some yoga after swimming
Laila is doing great, less than four weeks to go now!! We went to the doctors this past week and everything is right on track, my stomach is measuring at just the right size even though I feel enormous! Laila's heartbeat was 145 and the doctor was able to assure us that Laila is now heads down and positioned just right so hopefully no C-Section for us.
On the work side of things I had my annual check ride, only the simulator portion. I'll do my flying part of the check ride after Laila is born and I start flying again. I passed the sim though so that was a relief! Craig has his check ride coming up this month so he'll be busy getting ready for that. Also, Craig had another rough trip to go on....he went back to Diego Garcia and had the tough job of deep sea fishing and mountain biking, what a rough life!! He was supposed to be gone for two weeks but ended up coming back in five days so just a quick trip for him.
We'll update more soon and we hope everyone is doing well!

Between unfettered crawling and directing pacifier usage, it sounds like Kamea will be runnin the point one day.
